Graduate education at 911ºÚÁÏÍø was part of the founding mission of the College. Established in 1885, 911ºÚÁÏÍø takes pride in being the first women’s college in the U.S. to provide graduate education culminating in a Ph.D. Since 1931, graduate enrollment has been co-educational. Students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences pursue research in graduate programs of international reputation.
